Celtana: A Company History
2017: The Concept - A Celtic Heritagewear Brand
Celtana was conceived in the summer of 2017. Passion and enthusiasm for Celtic culture and fashion fuelled the dream of a clothing brand that would bridge the gap between the ancient and the modern: a fashion house specialising in traditional Celtic designs on modern apparel.
2018 - 2019: Expanding the Concept
For the next number of years, the brand would exist as just that - a concept, while we worked tirelessly on adapting traditional Celtic designs and patterns for use on contemporary fashion garments. We worked on design concepts and mockups and started to share them with our small community of Celtic art and history enthusiasts on our Instagram account.
2020: First Online Campaigns
In 2020, we launched our first online campaigns, bringing our creations to the world for the first time. This milestone allowed customers to experience Celtic-inspired clothing, boosting our brand visibility and sales.
Despite the global pandemic, we pivoted to enhance our online presence, maintaining customer engagement during the lockdowns.
2021: Collaboration and Innovation
We collaborated with renowned Celtic artists and designers to create limited-edition collections. By working with established artists in the Celtic art world, we were able to bring fresh perspectives and expertise to our clothing line, further enhancing our brand's commitment to celebrating and promoting Celtic heritage.
2022 - 2024: Present Day Success
Celtana's unique blend of traditional Celtic designs with modern fashion trends continues to gain more and more domestic and international appeal and we are committed to sustainability by introducing lines of eco-friendly Celtic-inspired clothing made using digital methods for development in order use less fabric and reduce wastage.
Today, Celtana stands as a respected name in Celtic-inspired fashion. With a strong online presence, our products stocked in multiple physical stores, and a dedicated customer base, the brand continues to celebrate and promote Celtic heritage through innovative and stylish clothing designs.
